What do we photograph?
For every need, budget and we appreciate that every piece is unique and has to be documented with this in mind.
1) Colour accuracy (For paintings and prints)
Each painting or print will be photographed using a colour chart to achieve the best possible accuracy for reproduction.
During post-production, each subject will have an independent profile created to achieve the best possible colour fidelity.
(*Please note all computer screens are calibrated differently, as a result, the colour may vary.)
2) Texture and Lighting
Texture and lighting are just as important as colour, so we endeavour to make sure that this demonstrated in the final photograph. (e.g. Paintbrush strokes achieved without light reflections)
3) Process
a. Brief and estimate to be agreed. (e.g. Numbers, size of items, Budget, use of images, Time scale, location, framed or Unframed, etc.)
b. Brief, the estimate is agreed and signed.
c. Location of work (Studio or on-site) where one or more days of photography will happen.
d. Post the photographic shoot, the work is then processed reflecting the brief.
As a result, this can take up to a day or more depending on the number of items documented from the shoot.
